What to Expect

As the Operations Coordinator, you are a high-performing, detail-oriented member of the Operations team in your market. You will report to the Operations Manager, and are responsible for the seamless execution of all specialized operations: I.e. Registration, Used Cars, logistics, funding, etc] and other relevant sales & delivery needs. You have shown an aptitude for streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, and developing operations professionals to excel in their jobs. You are a front-line leader that gets involved in the day-to-day activities of your team, dealing with customers, and the analysis of operational performance. You can operate independently, and in close cooperation with the Sales and Delivery leadership in your country.

What You’ll Do Operational Excellence & Planning
  • Develop expertise on all specialized operational processes and tools at your location
  • Build and maintain teams, with the highest productivity standards, to ensure timely vehicle arrival at Tesla locations, vehicle turnaround time and quality standards, to provide convenient and smooth vehicle handovers.
  • Manage and follow up on financial partners performance and ensure contracts are being issues in a timely manner
  • Develop financial processes to ensure smooth operations and checkouts
  • Responsible for vehicle revenue recognition and final payment collection
  • Partner with Operations and Store leadership in your country to plan, implement, and execute all pre-delivery tasks that will optimize deliveries to our customers
  • Partner with Store leadership to communicate and execute the vision, business needs, and operational strategies at your location
  • Ensure your team is set up to execute on its key operations objectives, including but not limited to speed to delivery readiness, net deliveries, minimizing vehicle dwell, maximizing yield, cost per delivery, customer satisfaction and transactional accuracy/AR performance


Employee Development & Brand Management
  • Display a hands-on approach by consistently coaching, training and developing operations specialists at your location
  • Observe, review and continuously provide feedback on employee performance
  • Coach and mentor staff, introduce best practices and enable inclusion and team culture
  • Support, implement and provide follow-up for all training
  • Assist with recruitment activities as needed
  • Ensure all employees adhere to Tesla policies and procedures
  • Escalate all people issues to store leadership in a timely and effective manner
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience managing operations/specialty teams with track record of streamlining processes and exceeding targets
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational role with demonstrated success driving change and improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative cross-functional relationships
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence in a team environment
  • Self-starter who is goal-oriented, creative, highly motivated and also able to follow instructions
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Technological fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems and MS Office with moderate skills in MS Excel
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and written, and punctuality are essential
  • Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Experience working with vehicles is preferred
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about changes in the transportation industry
  • Valid driver's license in the country in which you are applying and an acceptable and safe driving record
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
